Back to Trinity this week, and here's hoping the weather is better this time around (for thos of you who missed it, we were tied 1-1 in the 43rd minute when the ref called the game for lightning). No word yet on whether it will count as an official game.

Great Effort, Unlucky Result

Sunday's game was a really fine effort by everyone there, and more important, a ton of fun. If you weren't there, you missed a well-played 2-1 loss that could have been a tie or a Far Post win and been a fair result. You also missed Robert Mansker's fine sideline attire -- nice jacket, Rob, did you get that from Mourinho?

What did you think (of the game, not Robert's jacket)?

Early reminder -- next game is at 9 am Sunday at St. Stephen's/St. Agnes School (another FieldTurf field).

Game Still On

Today's game (April 6, 5:45 pm at Virginia Highlands) is still on as of this moment. With a turf field and the chance of rain diminishing as the day goes on, I would expect to play. Any doubts -- call (703) 229-1705.

Jon's Take: I like the March/April schedule a lot more than the May/June schedule, mostly because that's when we get all the good fields. Also, only one game on the Mall. Still strange to me -- used to be the whole spring schedule was played on the Mall. Ahh, memories.
