Playoff-Bound After All

We seem to have enough to play ... so let's do it.

The important facts:

- You MUST bring a driver's license -- the refs have been instructed to check it against our roster

- Game 1: Saturday, 2 pm, at Washington-Lee HS.

- Game 2: Sunday, 6 pm, at George Mason HS (only if we win Saturday, of course)

- Both fields are turf, not grass

- Weather Line: (703) 229-1705

- If we play Sunday, I most likely will **not** know the result of the Italy-Spain game and will want to watch it on my DVR afterward. Please don't spoil it for me!!

As most or all of you know by now, we did not make the playoffs, thanks to a forfeit on Sunday. Booooo!

Anyway, thanks for the great season, and see you in the fall ...

Good news -- we are in the playoffs.

We tied, 0-0, today (great effort by all, btw -- with a break or two, I bet we win that game). Armory won to clinch a playoff spot, but DC Divided lost 6-5 to Buena Vista Social Club, allowing us to move past them and into the postseason.

We play Hoover FC -- the team we lost to on the Mall, 4-0, a few weeks ago -- on Saturday. Field and time TBD.

If we win that, we'd play Sunday at a field and time TBD vs. top seed TAz Devils -- another team that beat us, 4-0.
